Taking a selfie can sometimes turn out to be an arduous task. If you’re not awkwardly bending your arm, you’re trying all 360-degree angles to make sure you get the perfect shot. Now, we all know that popular drones such as the Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro have advanced “selfie modes” so to speak, but with they come with a pretty big price tag if all you want is just the perfect selfie.
weFix has something groundbreaking to share – an invisible selfie stick. No, you didn’t read that wrong. We’ve developed a peripheral that attaches to your smartphone, using a combination of the device’s internal gyroscope as well as the Earth’s gravitational pull and magnetic field to ‘hover’ in front of the user – no hands – meaning the shot is perfect every time.
“It truly is the selfie stick of the future. No twisting and turning, and nobody will need to awkwardly squeeze into a photo frame limited by the length of the selfie-taker’s arm”, says weFix lead tech developer Steve Cook. “Even better, is that you won’t need to connect your device to Bluetooth, which means you’re saving on battery. Simply set your smartphone camera’s timer, let it float it away and snap!”
The tech recently won the 2016 Most Innovative Product at the Puedam Awards and will be available at weFix stores soon.
