What's included in your weCare plan?

Your weCare plan includes one free screen replacement and one free screen protector within a one year period.

There is no excess or additional payments needed.

I can't find my device in any of the wecare plans?

At present, the weCare plan is only available for purchase with one of the below Pre-Loved iPhone models:

I previously purchased a weFix Pre-Loved Device, can I buy a weCare Plan?

If you have recently purchased a Pre-Loved iPhone from weFix and wish to purchase a weCare plan, please contact us on wecare@wefixco.za and we can arrange this for you.

It would require you to visit your nearest weFix store so that they can assess that you screen is fully functional and working order before we can activate your weCare plan.

I don't have a Pre-loved device, can I still buy a weCare plan?

At this present time the weCare plan is not available without the purchase of a Pre-Loved iPhone.

We will be expanding our offering soon.

How long is the wecare plan valid for?

The weCare plan is valid for one screen replacement within a 12 month period.

what happens to the wecare plan once i claim?

Once you claim your free screen replacement within the 12 month period, your weCare plan expires. You would be able to purchase a new plan and your 12 month period would start from the date of your new purchase.

Can I buy more than one wecare plan?

Yes you can indeed! If you have purchased more than one Pre-Loved device you can purchase a weCare plan for each iPhone.

Details about the plan

How do i claim the screen replacement for my wecare plan?

Once your weCare plan is activated you will receive an activation email with your policy document and a link to create your login details for the weCare portal.

To make a claim, you would log into your weCare plan.

Click on "My policy", scroll down until you see "Log a claim".

Click on this and fill out the details of your claim.

You would then take in your device to your nearest weFix store for an assessment.

Once approved your screen replacement will be completed and you will be notified when your device is ready for collection.

I no longer want the wecare plan, can i get a refund?

You may cancel your weCare protection plan at any time and with immediate effect. If you do, we will refund the relevant portion of your premium, less an administrative cost of R150, provided that no valid claim has been submitted for that period. The relevant portion of your premium will be refunded on a Pro-Rata basis. This means if you are 7 months into your plan, you will be refunded the monthly pro rata portion of the annual premium for 5 months less R150 for administration costs.

To cancel your plan:

1. Log into your weCare portal and click on "My policy".

2. You would then click on cancel policy and complete the details.

3. This will go for review and your refund will be processed.

I have a new phone, can I TRANSFER my wecare plan to my new device?

You can transfer your weCare plan onto a new device within the 12 month period of the plan.

To do this, you would need to take your device to your nearest weFix store for an assessment. They will then verify the device condition and IMEI for the plan.

Your weCare plan will then be transferred to the new device.

Please note that if your new device falls within a different tier of the weCare plan you would need to pay in the difference to ensure it is covered.

IE: You've purchased a weCare plan 1 for an iPhone 8 at R499.00

You are wanting to transfer the plan to your new iPhone X which falls into the weCare plan 2 at R999.00.

You would need to pay in the difference of R500.00

 

Does the weCare plan include battery replacements?

No, the weCare plan only covers one screen replacment. Battery performance or replacements are not included.

Does the weCare plan cover backcovers?

No, the weCare plan only covers one screen replacment. Backcover damage or replacements are not included.

Should your backcover be damaged to the extend where a new screen cannot be fitted correctly, a backcover replacement will be quoted to you.

Should you not choose to replace the backcover, you can request a refund of your weCare plan. See refunds above.

 

Does the wecare plan include other damage to my phone?

No, the weCare plan only covers one screen replacment. No other repair for damage to your device is included.

My wecare plan is about to expire, can i refund or extend the plan?

You can request a refund for your plan if not used but please refer to refunds above.

This will be done on a pro rata basis with an administrative fee of R150.00.

You would be able to purchase a new weCare plan for your device.

By purchasing the plan, you acknowledge that you have read and understood all terms and conditions related to the plan.

my claim was rejected, what now?

Your claim would only be rejected if you are in violation of the weCare terms and conditions.

If your claim is rejected you would be able to request a refund.

We are in development of launching our weCare plan purchases in-store.
